Kickapoo Creek is the biggest anchor in the portfolio — 447 acres of creek-bottom Northeast Texas hunting on the same watershed that feeds into the Red River drainage. The creek itself cuts through the middle of the property with flooded timber staging along the levee at the north end.
Two flooded crop areas sit downstream of the creek fork — corn and millet planted every summer and flooded on a rotation through the season. Two natural ponds on the western and southern edges hold birds when the crop areas draw down.
A hidey-hole food plot at the east edge and a cabin site on the interior give the property a second life outside of duck season — members with an archery tag can extend into the fall, and the cabin sleeps a small group for overnight sits without a truck ride back to the lodge.
The creek runs the length of the property with flooded timber staging along the levee at the north end — classic Southern-style green-timber hunting where the creek pushes water.
Corn and millet plots planted every summer and flooded on rotation. Members get fresh setups every couple of weeks through the season.
Ponds on the western and southern edges hold birds when the crop is drawn down for moist-soil rotation.
Deer food plot on the eastern edge — cover for the members hunting the archery-season shoulder before duck season fully opens.
Cabin on the property interior for members hunting overnight or the crew running the water-management rotation.
The largest reserve in the portfolio — enough space that members hunting different setups on the same morning never step on each other.
