The Reserve

What this reserve is, and why we anchored it.

Rivercrest Reserve South is the founding property of the Lineage Reserves portfolio — 223 acres of flooded green timber on the Sulphur River bottoms south of Rivercrest Lake. Pump-managed water is the operating premise: when the natural flood pulls out in a dry December, the pumps keep the timber wet and the birds working.

This is the reserve most members will take their first Lineage-badged morning at. It's tucked, quiet, and set up to hunt right the first time you sit a blind here.

On the ground

Features that matter to a season.

Pump-managed water

The reserve holds water through freeze-out and dry stretches — a pump station keeps the timber flooded on Lineage's schedule, not the weather's.

Green-timber blinds

Blind placements sited on the natural loafing pockets in the flooded oak flats. Brushed and pressure-washed every off-season.

Sulphur River adjacency

Direct backwater connection to the Sulphur River when the river runs high — new birds trade in on every push.

Working kennel + parking

On-site dog kennel, gravel parking pad, and a rigged-up cleaning station. Members bring the dog; Lineage keeps the lot maintained.
